TOP SPEED?

Out of interest what the top speed you have achieved?

and with what mods!

no lectures please about whatever just your best autobahn speed please!

I got about 125 mph at Talladega this summer, and could easily have gone faster but the pace car was only doing about 100. I hadn't ever done the track laps before, and I didn't figure out how to work it until it was the last lap. :evil:

Mine's all stock except for the Everest chip.

128mph - on track, no mods, standard speedo.

130mph on the approach to Schwedenkreuz on the Ring - this was just the speedo reading so probably optomistic :-)

130mph indicated, somewhere 'on the continent'.
Standard speedo, Mountain chip, Piper exhaust.
Definitely had more left in her...

indicated 140mph bog standard, with some left, rather light at the front and the roof sounded like it was about to turn into a drag style parachute, would like to give in another shot after the hardtop and other mods, once i have a working gearbox, brakes, and wishbones that you cant see daylight through.

id dearly love to beat 155mph then you could stroll past some very expensive electronical limited machinery.

Speedo reading of 150 with more available. BBR bollox kit fitted.
4+ hours stuck in a damp bucket seat with a mad Irishman at the wheel - Deep joy!!!!

125 GPS speed (Germany) during 1 tank of gas (that went quik)
Everest, 2,25"exhaust, pre and main cat removed, open air replacementfilter

Plenty of power left, but for a car full with luggage of 2 weeks holiday + Wife + Dog this was enough. Car felt a little light in handling :roll:
