Door card looks S1 not S2, engine bay doesn't look too tidy, top down the hood compartment cover is not meeting by the door (unless it isn't latched properly).
Other than that it does look tidy and has Nardi wheel and piped seats.

yep SE door inserts....mines and SE but I have S2 inserts.....
a bit of muck on the engine just means its been used rather than left mint....also that no one has tried to steam clean it...
as for the rear deck....erm theyve just not shut it.....mine looks like that if I leave it open

Martin - the advert pictures worked ok for me. As I used to be in car sales I would offer the following advice on the advert though - way too long and honest. Say about the respray and upgraded seats etc, but leave out the head gasket failure and accident damage (unless the car was a write off, in which case add cat d to the ad). Telling people you have spent £7k on maintaining the car makes them think they will also be spending £7k in the next few years.

I was put off looking at a cheap Maserati Ghilbi GT when they said it had just had an £8K service! The car was under £6k!

Please don't think I am being a know it all, I am only trying to help.

I hear what you are saying and thanks for that advice - but I prefer to be very honest warts and all - some of that £7k (£3.5K or so) is upgrades which are not strictly neccessary - although that is not what I told the other half It was a little bump and most definately not a Cat D and Head Gasket is a common problem with higher miles

a friend of mine once looked at a Ferrari 400i but was put off by the servicing costs - car £12K - £26K on normal servicing - nothing Major at all!!!!
