If the Doctor's concerned then you've done the right thing. Looking forward to seeing the photos and good luck for the day.

If a date for the Punch Bowl fits with my shifts, I'll see you both there!
Hope all goes okay on Friday (and beyond) - take care,

Hello all
Just a quick update. Not been able to "unveil" just yet. Nothing to worry about (flu jab left him a bit grotty for 24 hours) and should now happen Sunday all being well. Had great time driving back from Sussex and can't wait to make "handover" and see his face. Mmmmm, that is as long as he agrees to share it with me of course! Karen x

Hello everyone
FInally late yesterday afternoon I gave my totally amazed husband his very own Lotus Elan. Should have happened Friday but unfortunately Andy is not feeling 100% so I waited for the right moment - and for the rain to take a break!
I don't think the photos will show just how gobsmacked he really was. He walked round it so many times that it actually constituted moderate exercise before even opening a door and when he actually drove it I promise you that it made my year never mind day.
All thanks to your wonderful kindness and I hope we get do get to meet some of you before Christmas at the pub in Woodstock suggested by Bob (I will PM you Bob)
I think Andy is still in shock but when he has finished reading the manual from cover to cover it looks like you will have another new member.
Thank you all so very, very much.
Warmest regards
Karen

No, they don't. I imagine the occasion was more than just a little special to you both.
Sounds like it went well.

Glad it went well - and hope it continues in the same way.
Get out there and enjoy it - who cares if it is raining (as long as it isn't too much).

An excellent result and WELL DONE to all those who helped bring it about.
It's one of the rare occasions my wife has asked for an LEC update!

Looks like today is dry and sunny, at least it is here, time to wrap up warm and take the roof down and go for a spin.
Enjoy

Thats the best way for both of you to be alone, and enjoying your time with the new toy.
Take care
