Nice pic with the avatars "songbird" but using the current printers which keep costs and time input by me and the other daves who all now work on the calendar, it wouldnt be possible to make it worth viewing.

For those who keep asking and havent read the thread back to the 2009 calendar

Please read back

think lateral, remove crap and make them unusual.

Dave T has all the Pics, he's the man with the plan,

I'd wait on the picture front till Dave has released the cal. (your pics are good, it'd be a shame to rule them out straight away)

The mail box was fine,

Another cry for more photos please, we're getting there, but we still need a few more....especially portrait please

I won't be chasing anyone this year. If the photos dont come in, the calendar will not be done [by me that is].

I had intended to get about 150 possibles to do 3 products

a desk calendar
a write on calendar
a luxury wall calendar

- so far I have input from only 5 or six sources- not enough to choose from......

OK folks.

So far Dave Speck and I have received a selection of photos [ some of which are excellent photos] from which I made a selection in the usual manner, except this year for the main calendar I tried to avoid previously used cars. The net result is we dont really have enough to do the usual calendar let alone any other products. Dave Speck is currently away and would not be available to review my decision. Net result is that the 2010 calendar will not be produced.

That's a real shame, but I'm sure everyone appreciates the effort you and Dave have put in. Maybe you could use some of the photos you have and produce something for people to buy (hence support LEC) at the Malvern show?

Dave??.....
do you have enough pics........but not of cars not seen before.......
so if you dont submit your pic youre in and if you do your not...... ...erm.....all sounds a bit iriah to me....there again I should understand that then...:)
I'll help you select pics if you want.....a specky stand in......
am willing to help sort this..........we could do with a 2010 calendar......21st anniversary calendar......

if you dont want to do this then......
I should be able to do some leg work and get this done and at the printers if people still want one.....

...if you can send me the pics you have.....and if you can put them in their selected categories...months or however youve sorted them itd be cool.....
I can then go and ask the printers for an immediate quote.......
I have spoken to a couple of them near me and theyre giving me a deadline of the 1st week of Jan if thats ok with everyone.......

thoughts??....

if I get on with this then I'll also be wanting to keep the price to £15...(or less)...as per previous years........

should we do this?.....I am prepared to help out or pick up the batton which ever is preferable.....

:-D

A3 in silk rather than hi gloss.......less reflection.....

ready before jan 1st........

what do we think??.....

Ive said that probably between 25 and 30 calendars.......think the last runs have been about 40.......

I suppose if we get more it may be cheaper........

cheers

I`m in :-D

If peeps don`t submit a photo and it turns out that the same member cars are on the calander then thats just the way it is. Be nice to keep the calander going every year as they might come collectable
