Only if they make a FWD version. I was under the impression pretty much everything about the M100's suspension was designed to neutralize the normally negative handling characteristics of FWD cars.

Looking at that Evora picture, those wheels look to have a big offset. Does anybody know what they are? Maybe a future option for M100 owners with the money to pay for them.

Well, obviously if they're 5-lug wheels they wouldn't work, but I couldn't tell from the pics. Elise has 4x100 pattern, so I figured the Evora might too.

No one said, that the evora is the follower of the elan... it is more like the effect when the Elise was launched: something new, something old, something borrowed The Elise has looked familiar cause she quotes stylingelements of the Elan and the Europa and overall she was new. A further member of the family. In the same way does the evora play with some elements... an by the way some elements of M100Elan. Nothing more, but even nothing less


And if someone want something bad for this toy... one could say, that the evora quotes elements of the KMSII too the bespoken headlights and the curved spoiler =>

I think the change in bonnet height halfway across the unit would make it look odd.
I think the lack of this with the Nissan lights make them look odd on an Elan too.

As for pop-ups being a bit retro, what is wrong with that? I don't think any car designed in the 21st century looks aesthetically pleasing & they are certainly too heavy by far. Our roads are now full of designs which look fat, bloated & just plain ugly. i much prefer designs of the 80's.

Some may feel that pop-ups look a bit gimmicky, but so what? When down, the car looks a lot sleeker than with any light, including a sloped type like on the Evora/Mk2 Elise.
Their only downside is the amount of room they consume which would otherwise be underbonnet space.

Congratulations mate, I thing those lights look pretty damm good - the aluminium braces look like s**t..., but the overall exterior effect is pretty good. I actually think it looks like a BMW Z1 now. And I think you can actually get aftermarket 300ZX loghts with projector units, that look a LOT like the Evora lights.

Its your car, and you get to do what you want. These guys that will only fit "Lotus"bits are just kidding themselves - Lotus are "bitsa" cars, always have been and probably always will be.

I dont think I would do it, as I like pop ups, but I'm probably going to use 300ZX tail lights (aftermarked LED ones , spray tinted black) - I HATE round lights.

Im also going to use Audi bits, VW bits, French speakers and amp, and a Chinese iPhone (+ Australian leather, Japanese tyres and a fair few custom bits)...does that make it more or less of a Lotus, and isn the moding of your car to make it faster, better, in the philosophy of Mr. Chapman???? Oh did I forget to mention the Isuzu engine...

As far as I can see, you have 2 choices with Lotus ownership. Keep it 100% OEM, or do what you like.
