SE OEM Exhaust removal - quick question

Just a quick question so I can decide how to tackle a little problem!

I need to remove the front section of the main exhaust - The first section AFTER the downpipe (flexi/sprung joint).

I'm happy that I can seperate both joints, my question is do I need to remove the subframe/prongeron in order to get the section off?

If the Progreron has to come off, it makes a big difference to me as to how I'll tackle the job!

Thanks Tony - I'll give it a go...

The front flange of the flexi joint looks very tight to get to with the subframe in the way...
I assume there's an olive in the middle of the joint?

Yep,you guessed right.

In order to make it easy, there has to be a reasonable ground clearance - preferably up on a ramp - but failing that, then get the front up as high as possible so that you can get the angle to manoevre it round the subframe.

I got the flange disconnected OK, but there is no clearence to slide the pipe forward to clear the sleave joint to the centre section

I guess I'll have to drop the subframe - no big problem, just wanted to avoid if possible...

Does anyone know if SJ's stainless front pipe SJ100S0004 will fit to a standard OEM steel centre pipe?
