rear windscreen

Hi
I had bit of a disaster today I had to take the battery out of the ELAN to use it on another car that had a flat battery ,having owned an ELAN before I thought I new the procedure .So i unclipped the hood and lifted the hood stowage cover (its a job you need three hands for or a hand from someone else ).As I used to do with my previous Elan I used the plastic battery cover to hold the hood and stowage cover apart and just as I was removing the battery the battery cover slipped of the hood dropped about two inches and the pressure on it from the stowage cover pushed straight thro the rear screen and broke the perspex in two The car has recently had a new screen not long before I purchased it but I think its the wrong perspex I know its got to be flexible to bend when the hood is in the down position and I think this perspex was too brittle So it was an expensive battery removal
Because of whats happened I am now desperate for a new rear screen and getting someone to fit it for me
Does anyone know anybody who will do this I am in STOKE ON TRENT and would travel to get it sorted

Be warned if you are going to remove the battery make absolutely sure that whatever you use is firmly lodged between the hood and stowage cover
