Hello
I have submitted two requests for a password to access the manuals area of the forum as I am trying to get hold of a manual for my elan before I start dismantling my elan!
It has been a few weeks between requests and I just wondered if the manuals/passwords etc. were still being administered on the site as I have had no response as yet. In the case that they are not administered I don't suppose anyone would be able to email me a copy if they have one.
Thanks very much.
Paul

Well, at the risk of incurring sanctions by asking for "special treatment"

, it's only been a few days since I requested access to the Manuals Download area, but ... I now have the parts and the time blocked out so anything that can be done would be much appreciated. Otherwise, I may put things together "my way", and that could be real interesting

Thanks! Peter

Parts Guide, Engine section, Image 40.13A
I can't find page 1 of part numbers, items 1-29, relating to this image. I have page 2 of part numbers, items 30-43. Does anybody have a copy of page 1 please? That would be Page 1 40.13A

Thank you very much Geoff, that was mighty quick.
Just while you're on, there has been a slow loss of coolant at the top of the bottom hose where it meets the block. I got a couple of nice new stainless hose clamps and pulled the hose off at the block and radiator ends. The spout at the engine end, which I see is called a Pipe Suction, was a little corroded. I cleaned it as best I could, refitted the pipe and applied the new clamp, confident that this would fix it. But, apparently not, there's still a weep from it. The coolant is dripping from the pipe so I don't think the O ring on the by-pass pipe has let go.
It's hard to see where the actual leak is. Is this a common problem on this motor?

I have submitted a request to gain access to download the manuals - how long will it take before I can do this?
