Also when I get the car back I'm going to run it for a month to see how much oil collects in new oil separator if it's not much then I will remove blue separator.

I think it makes engine bay cluttered.

Sounds good Tony, looking forward to hearing about your driving impressions once you're back onshore and have delivery of the car.

I'll be doing the turbo on mine over this winter (maybe amongst the other planned projects) and basically am down to 3 options. GT2560 as most have done, a GT2544 which should deliver the same sort of power as you currently have but is smaller, so ultimate power potential is lower, but should spool up faster and therefore have less lag, and finally have the existing turbo modded as has been done by Karl Martin. I have the full LGM kit so the Garrett option is the most likely and I'll be taking advice from CR Turbos when I get back to UK in mid Sep.

I've got the car back and I have smoke when I come off boost.

To be honest I'm not entirely happy.

My car doesn't make max boost till 4500 rpm which I feel is a bit too high.

Also my gear cables have given up the ghost. Need to buy some new and I have found that one of the bolts holding the bracket for gear cables has been snapped in the gearbox.

I have also developed a small oil leak possibly Head Gasket.

Also blew off some of the boost pipes so I am going to replace the jubilee clips with better quality clips( Mikalor )

Will have to wait till I get back this time to fix.

When you increase boost beyond stock (especially above 1 BAR) you are significantly increasing stress on the intake tract couplings. Smaug wears much stronger clips than the stock.

I expect you will need to do the same. The simple jubilee worm-gear clips are not sufficient. I would also thoroughly clean the meeting faces of the pipes so the rubber-to-metal junction has as much friction and the best seal possible.
