Just waiting for the rain to back off so I can fit my new mudflaps.

Just need to get the car ready to show it off at caslecombe now as after looking inside the doors Iv seen I need a new runner for the butterfly clip to clip onto for the windows.

I now have the R1rs fitted onto my alloys. Just waiting for the rain to back off so I can fit my new mudflaps followed by the alloys. I am hoping to take the Elan out on Track @ Castle Combe next month so I can try these tyres out under a decent environment.

Fitted some s2000 seats to alloy me to use harnesses.

The S2000 seats are in now. I made the brackets up quickly this morning. Expect I will make some smarter ones at some point over the winter ( would prefer them black rather than Galv).

They are a perfect fit in the Elan. Sides have enough room to slide without catching anything, backs don't catch on the hood. I am yet to try closing the door with the door cards on though as all the trim is currently off. They looks spot on, don't look OTT but smarten up the interior by bringing it upto to date and looking a tadd classy.

They don't seem to offer as much support as my Sablet recliners from just sitting in the seats sationary. Time will tell how they hold out on hard corners though

The red SE was doing a good job of avoiding the pack, looked well driven and quick with the usual front roll
There were a few spins on track and a VX220 was lucky to avoid the tyres after a spin on the grass:shock:

Red Elans just seem to travel through time faster.
This is just my observation and not a Scientific Fact.
I am sure someone will correct me shortly.

Just fitted an Elise gear knob. Half alloy, half leather. Bit smaller than the O/E one, feels lots nicer on the hand.

Gonna take the Elan out for some nice pics soon. In the mean time...

I have now tried a different filter which means I could use a recirc valve if wanted

Just bought a set of S2000 Seats but I'm not very "mechanically minded"!

Can you gvive me some info/help on how to mount these?

If so, preferably "Idiot Proof" (me)

Thanks
