Southampton

Hi Everyone
Some of you may remember I was asking for ( and received - in abundance - thanks ) help a coupe of years ago concerning two elans here in Turkey ( one purple , one green ) ......Well , I am back on the case again .... I wonder if anyone lives near Southampton - or indeed will visit the Southampton boat show - and could spare me a bit of time for a chat over a cup of tea ( or something stronger ).
I will be working at the show from Friday 10 until Satuday 18 and staying near Hamble , before flying back to Turkey again .
Anyone ....?

What are you thinking of? Buying advice?

Hi Dave
I would just like to have chat about the car , buying advice , parts availability and suppliers , and to get a feel from another owner about general running , maintenance etc , chat about issues I may face here , and in particular what I should look out for if I buy the car in Ankara and try to drive it home - or should I get parts and fit them before driving 700 km in a car that I think has not run ( well maybe a daily start up , but not much more ) for nearly 5 years . If so, who should I try to get parts from etc etc
I know we have another member here( L.G. ) who is in Istanbul - and has always been helpful - but if I got a chance to sit down and have a chat with somebody it would be really useful
If you have time on Sunday that would be much appreciated - what sort of time is late ? To attend the show ?
