Just thought I'd try a new thread...

It's a recognition picture game, and hopefully you'll get to know your cars a little better.

I'll post a random picture of a component part of an Elan, all you have to do is say what it is and where it lives...

I'll be keeping score, views against correct answers :wink:

Ive not got A/C and havent played with my water bottle so it was a guess anyway......
as for what?.....Ive not had that bit out of my car yet....or for that matter....found one :)
defo looks like a replaceble mesh filter for something......
ah got it........

Looks like a rubber flapper vent like the one between the trunk and the hood stowage area.

We have a winner... :-D

You're correct, it's one of the two rear oulet valves situated inside the hood stowage area.

Time to get harder pictures I think, job for tomorrow.

at least I now know what to looks for if I should ever move the carpet in the hood stowage or boot bulk head areas :)

Look where your hood cover hinges are... and look outboard of them...
