I've decided on a new project....
Power steering Pump overhaul.
I Just fancy doing it for Shits and giggles.
A couple of questions:-
Anyone done it?
Does anyone have an old pump they don't require anymore.
I'm looking for a freebie that I could have, this way I can carry out the task and it doesn't matter if it all turns to shite.

you really don't have enough to do, Specky. Perhaps you'd like to come over and install my PS rack?

After a bad run of luck a few years back I had to replace the rack on my Elan. Took me all if 12 hours to do as some of the fittings are a pain to get to. Would probably take me less now that I have a better sense of what needs to happen.
The pump as per Isuzu is not a serviceable item. That just sucks.

Sorry! I'm stuck in Stockholm at the moment and couldn't fit Smaug into my carry-on.

IIRC 12 dollars for a seal/ rebuild kit.
Just under a 100 dollars for a non OEM pump, not confirmed and I guess I never will.
