Opinion: Red or Black wires for yellow car?

I'm about to order a new wire set and wanted to check on the general opinions of color choice for a yellow Elan. The current Magnecore wires that are in there are blue. They don't look bad, but I think I'd like to keep the car more consistent. I was thinking about yellow or red.

What's your opinion?

EDIT: I'm going to go with black. Neutral color, and goes with the rooftop. Thanks for the handful of opinions.

Red from the tail lights, of course!

The only issue I have with yellow is that I don't want my car to be all yellow...

There is no blue on the car, which is why I want to avoid it. If I go with red, I would eventually accent it elsewhere (some hoses, calipers, etc...)

Oh, and I just realized that black is not cheaper, it is the same price, heh.

But, black's in the running now.

C'mon Mike - the OE HT leads are red - keep it original!

Yellow will show the dirt really quickly.
Red will look ok.
Black will go dull but still look ok.

Okay, I managed to fix the terminal on the one bad Magnecor, so I haven't ordered the Kingsborne leads. However, I am still ordering them at some point. I'm back to considering red... I actually think red looks good under the hood, as long as it's not overdone. You know, a couple of pipes and the leads, and that's it.

I do agree on the yellow dirtying up quicker, so that's out now for sure. The ones in there right now are blue, and they don't look horrible but I don't see why you'd want blue wires unless the rest of the car was a blue "neutral" color, like black, white, or blue.

So, until I actually click the Submit button on that order, I'll leave this open ended and between Red or Black.

Eddie, red wires look good on a red car.
I saw black leads on the yellow car at log 31.
Just my opinion.

Yellow for bling, black for stealth. I think red would seem a bit out of place

Back in the day I ordered one yellow set & one green set, just to see how each would look.

I think Steve Matthews picture looks the bees knees, but for me I don't give a .... about colour under the bonnet (Brit as you can tell by the spelling and parts name) so long as it performs its function to the engine. I had a problem on one of mine so I bought new 8mm Magnecor [standard blue]. An old buffer like me is still in the distributor age, but I have a trusted man/mechanic who explained the intricaces of wasted spark, two coils and computer management. I just watched as his hands went searching in the dark depths to pull off the first lead from one coil and bring it back up to the corresponding spark plug, and replace the new lead from coil to spark plug. Surgery repeated another 3 times. Job done.

By the way that M100 is NMY. The other one is Pacific blue - so that will please the color co-ordinators among you.
