There is a thread on here with Dimensions and pics which is really useful for fitting the S2k seats mate.

Not updated this for a while...

I have done a few bits inside the car and the Interior looks 10x better now, mainly due to the S2000 seats tbh. I have fitted new gaitors (dark grey / light black with red stiching) which match the Momo steering wheel and red details inside already. Got a new alloy handbrake handle fitted to ( which is a BMW M3 Item). Also got some Sparco alloy race pedals fitted as I wanted some polished alloy to match the Elise gearknob an handbrake

Pretty happy with the inside for now. :bananasex:

Had the car on the rollers yesterday to see what power its making. Run the car up as standard and with the higher boost from the V5 switcher.

First run was 1. Stock 1499 (as Lotus released).

Second was 7. Elysium 1499 V5 (0.95 bar maximum boost).

I just fitted the front Mintex 1144s @ Combe as it takes 2 mins with the APs and I wanted to check they were the right ones. They have bedded in well. There are like I dunno 20x better than that Greenstuff shite! lol

Yea going on @ 11am. First time round in the Elan! Mad to think I have nearly had it 2 years an not used it round there. Really looking forward to it :-D Just hope the sticky tyres and decent brakes don't show me how poor the old suspension is now

Its been over two years since I've driven my Elan,, today was the first day back on the road :-D

Took the Elan around Combe and was really pleased with the handling for a 17yr old car with stock original dampers

I hope it handles ok, it seems fine but I know braking late means things will be different to the road. :burnout:

Had sometime going round Combe today. The Elan was AMAZING on the first 2 laps :bananasex:

APs were stopping me well. Had no issues overtaking traffic until the car dropped down to 3 cylinders for the remainder laps  Damm coilpack :banghead:

It was going so well out there before hand, the car really impressed me!

Thanks :D

I would prefer a full open pit day but this was a good tester of using the Elan on track, the stock suspension done a good job 8)

One of the coilpacks failed 2nd lap into my session at Castle Combe. :x I traced the fault to the first pack once I got home. The car was then left in bits, that was until Dapinky lent me his spares :) )
Nice one

I have now ordered the MSD Blaster coils from the US as they seem to get good reviews. £60 delivered seemed a fair deal if they last the test of time.

Also ordered some headlight bulbs for the MOT as one died... Osram Nightbreakers. Use them on my Vrs and think there fab
