flat blade wipers

Just fitted these and they are an improvement over the standard ones - I have them on all my cars now - and they are also cheaper

Yeah they work well - not sure on the fitting of the ones I have, the centre looks a bit fat lol

Do look nicer than standard ones though. However these seem to be standard on most modern cars now anyway.

I had these on Smaug and thought they looked too chunky compared to the delicate filigree of traditional wipers. Of course here, I could remove the wipers completely and never notice their absence. I put the flat blades on my daily driver and went back to traditional blades on the Lotus.

I removed my wipers completely and much prefer the look of the car with them off. I put the bolts back on with a short piece of hose underneath.

Circumstances were such that I had to drive in the rain one day (2 Saabs out of action) and couldn't find the wipers - why weren't they in the trunk, the only sensible place to put them? Luckily I had some RainX that I bought years ago and never used more than once. Didn't miss the wipers at all. That stuff really works.
