Well, it's taken me over a year to get around to replacing the worn out dash with the one I received from Knox Motorsports (Steve's old one). I have the dash out but was wondering if there's anything else I need to look for / fix while it's out? I'd hate to put the good one back in only to find there was something I should have tended to.
Thanks
Don

Nope, just the dash top itself. Of course everything else is out too.

From the condition of mine and what I've seen posted recently - take a look at the glued tabs and re-glue as needed.
Good Luck.

Finally took the time to get everything back together. I now have a dash with no nasty rattle/squeak and a fully functioning glove box. I now have another slight problem. I'm sure it's something I've overlooked but both my boost gauge and oil pressure are reading low. I think even my voltage gauge is on the low side. What could I have mucked up while I had the dash apart? Any ideas?

Never mind. Looking at things for the 4th time I found a plug I forgot to "snap" all the way back together. All is well with the world again!!

Nsr250, What was your total time for removal and replacement. I am doing my new dash replacement, but was wondering what kind of time I should set aside. Thanks.

Got er done! Whoa it was a beast but I am so happy with the results I feel like I am a lot more knowledgable about my little car. So many thing were unglued. But ever single part was there. I put it all back. Once The felling returns to my hands and figures I will tackle the new steering wheel. Ther are two types of dash board I discovered. The older one like mine had had metal rebars bolted to the underside. The newer ones do not. The bars are molded into the dash...
