Drivers side door glass

I am in Northern California---

anyone ever replaced their drivers side glass?
Mine broke so i drive window-less---

somone thought any glass shop could fabricate a custom piece of glass to fit any car----true?

Try Dave Bean Engineering. Part Number B100B0111F for Bronze and B100B1125F for Green.

They have the Bronze one in their Price Sheet at $151.40 and the green one at $274.99.

Doesn't mean they actually have one.

There was an Elan being broken at one of the mega-salvage yards in Rancho Cordova / Folsom about 3 years ago. I had a link pointing to the site at one time but it's now dead. Wouldn't hurt to make a few calls up that way to see.

I bought a lot of that car back in '07 and checked with them recently and they no longer have any parts left from it.

So far, I have only seen spare windows coming from the UK and a lot of them are the early, bronze colour.

The 60th Anniversary sale had the Bronze ones (B100B0111F) at £34.04. Now they are back on the available list at £126.27 + VAT + Shipping.

The green version (B100B1125F) is available from Lotus for £111.25 + VAT + Shipping.
