If you want a secondhand one, I'd try 'findapart' Often the bits supplied come with a warranty ...

I've also been looking at getting my Volvo turbo refurbed, my short list is:

www.turbocentreuk.co.uk/
On their web site they mention from £100 ??

www.turbodynamics.co.uk/
I was quoted £175 + vat for refurb

www.crturbos.co.uk/
I was quoted £200 + vat for refurb

To be honest once they have your turbo, you will probably pay whatever they say needs to be done. So that figure could be completely arbitrary.

I have seen new turbos advertised for Saabs and Volvos on Ebay. I've also been warned against the Japanese turbos, as I believe some of them are manufactured with inferior materials.
I wouldn't buy a second hand turbo from anywhere, unless its been refurbed. I once bought a 2nd hand elan turbo from ebay, and the amount of movement in the shaft was ridiculous. But apparently it worked fine on the car! I sent it back.

This may help. There's plenty more out there, but these are ones I plan to use.

Thought Rob aka Turbo nutter ! would come to the rescue. Rumour has it he has a display cabinet containing a shiny refurbished M100 turbo by his bed and a well thumbed Turbo Technics brochure under it! :-D

Gareth

I'd highly recommend these guys I've dealt with them exclusively over the years.
