Two Elans in one street? Aren't there laws against that??? It's unnatural, it is.

Same colour too... I'll have to take a photo of the pair this weekend when I move in :)
If I recall, the new neighbour's in the photo is an S2, and has a Nürburgring sticker on the back.

Mine should be, but isn't! Hence the age-old PB flakey flakey issues...

As an aside, I was somewhat surprised that they counted the service road for the garages as part of the street - hope there aren't SORN implications!

I've found my Elan on Google. It is a little obstructed, though:

You only get a quick flash of mine in Google Streets....

come down the road and a Focus owned by my daughter is there...

streets 1.JPG

then it's my Elan SE...

streets 2.JPG

go past and look back and it's become my Forester ... :smt102

streets 3.JPG

Must be more than 5 years ago as all those 'tin' cars are long gone. The Eclat is still 'a project on the back burner', Elan is still owned but I'm now using a younger one.

Isn't that the truth! To go off topic for a moment, apparently, the metal railings you find in front of so many old terraced houses were normally painted bright colours - until they were painted black in mourning for Prince Albert. It is strange that so many people prefer to paint things a shade rather than a colour.
