LGM Rollbar Installation Instructions

Postby Ultimatt » Wed 09.11.2011, 15:39

Hi guys/gals

Does anyone have a copy of the installation instructions from the original LGM Rollbar?
Finally got to a position to fit mine and have obviously changed computers and lost the link.
Had a good trawl through the site, but cannot find it. Any pointers appreciated.

Thanks

Instructions? I didn't need any.

I just bolted mine in the only places it would bolt to & put some spacers where required.

Cheers Chaps,

Geoff kindly sent the destructions through to me.
Can you give an indication of how long they would take to fit for an experienced mechanic with all the necessary kit to hand?

Thanks

Matt

Wowsers Marie... Okay... How about a regular mechanic rather than someone that where's superman logos on their coveralls? :D

I will ask them to quote me for one hour labour then

I don't have a superman or superwoman logo on anything. Just my old lotus emblem embroidered sweatshirt or my Lamborghini tech polos from my years as an auto tech.

If they've never installed a bar like this before, it could take up to two hours to do asunder are quite a few bits to remove to gain access

When the bar goes in, you may need to SHIM the center between the tub and the frame.
My Fed. car had a 1/4" gap and you will crack the tub if you do not.
The bar is not only beautiful but functional.

If users shining is needed, please do not use washers!!! Measure the gap and get a piece of plate steel cut to match the foot. This increases the footprint of the bars and adds rigidity
