It was of the best cars I have ever owned, did everything I needed. It was fast, comfortable, never let me down & I used it to move house (twice) and it took everything I threw at it.
The only thing it couldn't do was use less fuel. Even driving like a geriatric Vauxhall Meriva driver (an unending supply of those around here) didn't really help, how do Opel/Vauxhall drivers cope with the utter boredom? I just couldn't justify the cost any more.
So on monday I swapped it for an Alfa Romeo GT diesel. Took it home and it immediately snowed! First time this winter! Maybe God has a sense of humor after all.
Leaving the Jeep was a wrench but the Alfa makes it bearable. Filled it up today and the computer showed 1000km range! It's a very pretty car and looks good sitting next the the Elan in the garage. It's makes a great daily driver, I just wish I had taken that knackered dryer to the dump first!

Enjoy!
