Hole in cover of orange boost gauge transducer

Hi everyone,
Quick question, does it matter that there's a hole in the orange plastic cover of the boost gauge transducer (as seen here http://wikilec.9600.org/index.php/Boost_gauge_problem). It looks like something's nibbled it (probably the rodent that had been using the cabin air ducting as a toilet).

Well, I suppose it doesn't appear to be making a difference and ElanScan reads the same as I think I'm seeing on the gauge.

there's only on f in Geof Smith doesn't have a cover on his and didn't know it should have.
It's only a sender for the Boost gauge so not really important.

AFAIK the answer is no. And if Smiffy hasn't got one that just confirms it

I think there's a bit of a race on between Dico and Smiffy as to who can do the least mileage in a year
