Oddly enough, my Consultant Cardiologist forgot to mention those particular recuperation strategies!!

They are the new American strategies for recuperation after an heart attack (get out and work your butt off in a gym or running & cycling), and the US statistics are a lot better than the British ones.
The old fashioned British remedies of resting, and taking it easy have been proven to be detrimental to people recovering after an heart attack, perhaps the Doctor's on the Forum can comment.

I was shocked to spot your post tonight and wanted to say sorry to hear about your problem but am pleased you are okay, got such good treatment and hope the recovery is100%. Many thanks for your good wishes. It was a bit of a shock for me also!

No events planned ahead for the Elan, as yet.

However, I've got this booked for the end of June and If I survive it I suppose I'll be able to consider my recovery just about complete!!
