lots of parts from my ex-Elan

Postby ratman » Mon 23.04.2012, 17:06

new topic, bad topic!
I had a big accident with my Elan last month, Kubika style.
I have the front end, windscreen, fascia damaged, but I had no injuries at all.
I have a lot of parts of the car that are in good conditions and I'll sell starting from next week (waiting for insurance).

compile your wish list, guys!

ciao, Federico.

I am pleased you walked away from the accident
Is the O/S sun visor still intact if so how much would you want for it and of course how much for shipping

As always, the main thing is that you're OK and I'm very pleased about that!

What a shame though about your Elan. I've loved that colour ever since I first saw it.

Another one disappears! :(

Sorry to hear of your news, I've enjoyed your posts. I hope you get another Elan - Italy needs them!

Trying not to sound like some piece of vermin scavenging around, but I'd be very interested in your Everest Chip (or even the one that you replaced it for). Please pm me a price if available.

ciao,
thanks to all for your support.
this is the image of my car.
lot of parts are in very good conditions except the parts cutted by the guard rail.
I have to wait a couple of weeks before dismantling it because of the insurance.

Ouch! That is a very sad image. :(

The important thing is that you're ok.

Holy smoke - ouch!

I'm very glad you walked away unhurt. Poor Elan :( They are stronger than we give them credit for (in certain planes).

I was about to post "are you sure it isn't repairable?"...but looking at the picture, it doesn't look hopeful.

Buy another one!

The most important is that YOU are OK!

If you want to sell parts, I could be interested in the climate compressor...
Please, let me know.

until then we will have to sit tight and be patient

I am gutted for you. That's just heartbreaking. Good that you walked away and are physically ok. Emotionally might be another story though. Wish you a positive outcome and another lotus. The marque runs deep I'm sure.
