Do any of you think that because of the new success of the Lotus F1 car, even though its not a Lotus it has the name on, and the car is referred to as a Lotus by the commentators, It will make the popularity of the marque greater and the Elan will become more sort after resulting in the price of one being greater than before Lotus were in the headlines so much .The prices of the ones on the market reflect that ,they appear to be holding their price well at the moment. What are your thoughts ?

As Dr Johnson reflected: "A second marriage is the triumph of hope over experience" so it is with F1 exposure and market value!
It might sell a few more Evoras perhaps but I very much doubt that we'll see a benefit.

Has the name Lotus not been all over the media in the last few years anyway, even if not for all the right reasons?
It's got chuff all effect on the prices of Elans!
And as for selling Evoras, they need to make some of the things first and then price them realistically
if they want to sell them

If it helps, I can confirm that my purchase of an Evora was in no way connected to F1
