I'm really sad to see the car like that. I posted a similar set of pictures a few years back. I bought the car back from the insurers and originally planned to break it but I found a brilliant repair shop locally (they do rally cars, moto GP bodywork,...) and they repaired it. I hope you might follow the same route.

I will, regretfully, join the scavengers and ask if I might have the left hand rear lower wishbone and the heat shields if they are not already spoken for.

Sad end for a nice Elan.

Do you have a right hand rear lower wishbone?

to ESM: what is the Heatschields you mentioned?
to all, yes, I have all the suspension working. I'll take them off next month when the car will be to the breaker.
it not a matter of bodywork only, but the fascia, the windscreen with pillars and so on. it is gone, no chance.... :-(((

The heat shields are the thin pressed steel pieces around the exhaust manifold, turbo and turbo downpipe. There are also a couple associated with the catalyst but I don't have one of those. See the picture.

Yes, most importantly is that you are ok and safe. The other things are secondary.

Glad to hear you are safe. Just to say that I can probably be of help with shipment of bulky items around the UK & EU.

I spent a lot of money with my courier firm and they give me very good rates. If you want to send me a list of things that you want shipped, approx weights and sizes, together with full names, addresses and phone numbers of who they are going to, I will price the whole lot up for you.

If you would like to sell me the seats, door cards, and door seals; I would be glad to take them and as that parcel would be quite large, with some wasted space, any other bits coming to the UK could be put inside it and then shipped out from me in the UK.

I'd also like the 3-switch assembly with the hazard lights in it; although I do wonder if it will be unsuitable in terms of fitment from a LHD to a RHD car; can't see it but its a thought.

do you have the driver's side glass window (green tinted) and the the same side window lift regulator?

Hello,

Wow, sorry for the crash!
...

Do you have the little plastic cover which hides the screws on the fascia? It is labeled #5 on the following drawing:
http://www.deroure.com/images/diagrams/23/14_07a.gif
I could be interested in buying the screw and the washer, too — respectively #15 and #16.
What would be the price including shipping to France?

Do you still have the column shroud-lower (B100V0189J)? Mine is OK but there is a little hole in it. So I am wondering what would be your price ... (http://www.deroure.com/diagrams.asp?TBL ... 0&ST=&SC=0, #41)

Thanks in advance!

This story of this thread seems at least 3 months old. Have you started selling parts and is the hood windshield connecting assembly available. Or the whole hood frame if you do not want to sell it in pieces. I'm in SF so I would prefer to get the hood front rail attaching to windshield only if possible. Thanks!

Hi. Sorry to see how your Elan ended up, but as everyone else said - glad it did it's job of protecting you.
Do you still have any of it left? I always wanted to install an S2's "fold-flat" handbrake lever to an SE. Is it available please?

Sorry to see you crashed your nice coloured elan, happy to see you are OK (that's worth more than a handful of Elan's)
