Broken Gear Cable

Postby Gareth » Fri 22.06.2012, 17:12

Aeter fitting the AB Motosport cables just over a year ago, the left side has "snapped" in the tunnel just to the rear linkage with the gear stick.

The car is a "Garage Queen" and has covered less than 3,000 miles since these were fitted

I have e mailed Alan Betts at AB Sports but have had no reply!

Question : is he still in business?

If not, am I right in thinking that Bob Brown can supply these?

(If you read this Bob can you pm me as I need to source a "proper pair" now!

Thanks in anticipation

I believe Alan was caught up in the flooding in Thailand and still hasn't gotten his feet dry yet.

I hope Alan is OK as all my e mails to him are bounced back,so it looks like my original investment of £235.00 has disapperared forever!

Thank God for Bob Brown!

I've had a total success with Bob Brown's cables, the saga still goes on as I'm still getting the short shift conversion refitted.
Presumably you have seen my thread on the problems I had? Good Luck. :D
