I thought people might be interested in a few pics of the M200 concept car of the Glasius collection, designed by Julian Thompson, that was on sale at Bonhams, at the festival of speed 2012.
it says in the book that it was basically a rush job at the last minute for 1991 Frankfurt motor show and a returned blue car from a customer was used.
The interior cloth was based on 'a ladies swimsuit' (awful, aready wearing with only 30 miles on the clock but it must have had a lot of 'sitting in' in its lifetime i'm sure) and was so rushed that when it was first used, the brakes fell off !
It was then sold to Paul Matty and then on to Olav Glasius who had it recommissioned by Ken & Neil Myers to the correct colour and made it a road registered car.
It had a estimate of £80,000 - £120,000, it didn't sell .......
