Toyo T1R Proxes tyre pressures

Hi, I have had a good look around the site, and did find the topic concerning tyre pressures for the Toyo for Track days but .... nothing for everyday mostly non-motorway use. Could an owner of an Elan S2 with the T1Rs fitted and very happy with them, tell me the tyre pressures used? (My Elan is original in every way, standard car).

My S2 has 2.0 all around, but....
I only have the tyres a week now, so not much time to tweak around!

S2 = 16" wheels.
I have fed wheels on my SE so these are 16" too.
I set mine at 28psi. This feels ok to me but is higher than Lotus' initial recommendation.

Having just checked the wiki, Lotus issued a bulletin in 1996 recommending slightly higher pressures for the newer tyres which had recently become available.

Hi, thank you very much for your replies. I have had the new tyres fitted and stuck with the 2.0 (29) level. I have driven on them for about 250 miles and they are absolutely brilliant. Perfect for road use. Am about to have the wheels refurbished but that is for another topic!!
Will mention though about the tyre valves, you probably know the original tyre pressure valves are made of steel, the fitter told me the later plastic ones (with a far better seal) do not fit, so for the moment am stuck with the old steel ones. Have ordered some at vast price from SJ Sports Cars but they haven't arrived yet.
