Head removal

Postby tb10 » Mon 02.07.2012, 12:37

Does anyone know what size hex socket is required to remove the head bolts? The space is quite tight and it appears a normal length 1/2 socket will not fit.

Cheers

I would assume all the bolts on the engine are metric, so be careful trying to use imperial tools.

they have a habit if using odd sizes 11mm 14mm 18mm ect but all metric buy a good metric socket set and a deep metric socket set as well would be a good idea

It's all plain metric indeed!
