Adrian Flux or Footman James

was with Adrian Flux this year came back at £400, got them down to £380, rang Footman James they quoted £311, Adrian flux will now match that ( )

what are peoples opinions of the two as there is bugger all in it price wise now

FJ unlimited mileage, agreed £6500, £100 excess, uk & European breakdown roadside&assist 3x club lotus track days (you never know...) £311
AF 5000 miles £6500 agreed, £125 excess, UK European breakdown roadside & assist £300

Tempted to change to FJ just for the fact Adrian Flux tried it on

nor is mine - as long as you declare everything, they gave me cover.

Nowt extra for the modifications, car kept on drive, unlimited miles, agreed value, full european breakdown and recovery, Cat 1 alarm (but not necessary for cover, just saved £3 on the premium!), 2 drivers, fully comp, £100 excess - 2 elans for £240 - but I'm an old git living in a semi-rural county.

3000 miles-garaged- European breakdown but with a daily and no track days £241.

I was with Adrian Flux who said they would give me a guaranteed value of £6000 on the insurance summary. I was honest and told them what I'd paid for the car on their valuation forms, but once I'd taken out the policy they wrote to me saying they would only guarantee the value at what I paid for it. I got the car at a really good price because the previous owner, who'd had it from new, wanted it to go to a good home. After much correspondence and phone calls they agreed a value of £6000 despite me later submitting a Club Lotus Valuation of £7250..
The next year I went with Footman James and no arguments at all. Competitive premium, unlimited mileage and guaranteed value of £7250.

£211, driveway, unlimited miles, £100 excess, euro & uk breakdown, agreed value (I said £7000 what have others had accepted?)

I explained that two days after the policy starts Kim will be my wife, they said as long as she doesnt drive it till then its no problem...
