Headlamp retaining rings

Help please, the Barn find from Aberdeen is almost road legal, but having bought new headlamps and backing plates, I need 4 of the circular rings that go at the very front as mine (along with most of the other metallic parts) have rusted to bits.
Have seen a post on here about a set of 4 Triumph Dolomite chrome rings, which with a bit of modification may do the job. I was wondering does anyone know of a similar part readily available or do the Dolomite ones do the job, or even though obselete, anywhere I can get some originals? All answers most welcome and if anyone feels like posting something sarcastic/funny I would love that as I could do with a good laugh right now

you can butcher to fit?

If you are referring to the flat pieces at the very front you could possibly cut replacements out of a sheet of aluminium alloy? Monodex cutter would be your friend
and they wouldn't have to look that pretty..

I have some of the dolomite ones in the garage that i havent used can have them for what they cost if you like. I cant remember the cost at present but got them from the triumph spares people who's name i forget also. Will have a dig round and edit this

Thanks for the help, the Dolomite rings worked just fine, don't even have to cut the third (top) one off, just bend it over with pliers.

Hi Muley, many thanks for that and yes I did smile, I meant the rings not the flat bit, can still get those, haven't a clue about the cutter, not too practical myself, melted some of the plastic lugs off the backing plastic ring thing with my dremmel getting the old screws out so I think that any attempt at cutting metal flat bits would have ended up in A & E I'm sure it would have been pretty bad! As it was I managed to complete the whole rebuild of the lamps in about an hour, even realised that the ones with the little arrow to the left must be the uk dipped beams The pods are now back in the car and working fine, god knows what the lad doing the beam setting for the MOT this week will think as they are probably aimed at the stars! Thanks for the suggestion but Dolomite Sprint ones work just fine.
