Sandra,
Is it possible to describe the circumstances in which it happened ... gear, speed, throttle opening, type of road etc.
Presumably your
brakes are sorted now?
Ray

Re: hitting the fuel cut, It happened when i picked the Elan up from the garage

Steve was in the Zafira GSI & i thought i would show him how much faster the Elan is

(It is) Going up the slip road onto the by pass and i hit the fuel cut just as i was about to overtake him, i think it was in 3rd gear, As mentioned its the 1st time its hit it, hears me thinking somthing isnt right with not hitting the fuel cut having the everest and the Piper 2.25

Maybe just with it been a cooler night.
All i was thinking with the fcd, if its that touch & go hitting the fuel cut it must be marginal & moving the fuel cut up a little would be OK, but obviously not..........
