what worked for me
1) annoy the bolt with the hammer gun
2) jack the car up - fit the extension bar and get the end near the ground / wooden block
3) passenger on the brake - then ease down the jack putting the weight of the car into the extension bar ( but don't let the jack right off - just enough to put a serious bit of load into the bar)
4) give the socket end a good belt with a decent hammer and solid drift
