Wild Turbo Gauge.

My Élan has developed a strange turbo needle behavior. I know the turbo in not running because I am at a complete stop and the needed bounces wildly with a smoothly idling engine. It will lay flat then without provocation bounce straight up it even goes wild on the turn of the key without the engine even running My turbo is boosting strong and at appropriate times when I "ask" for it, my blow off is appropriately releasing. I may have a gremlin living being my turbo gauge. :-/ Any ideas to begin getting that thing out?!?! Thanks.

Remove clean and reinstall the wires (in particluar the ground ) going to the turbo boost transducer located on the left strut tower as you look at the engine (kinda orange/brown looking cylinder) 99 times out a 100 thats the problem

Wow, that has to be the easiest fix ever. It's back to normal behavior...
