For some reason it went up a bit more when making payment. Maybe the exchange rate?? Dunno but couldn't be bothered to quibble...

Forwarding! :-D

I know I'm late to this but the timing belt is available in the UK as Dayco part 94197, and the alternator, PAS and AC belts are all stock items for various autofactors that a garage would get parts from so in the UK the only difficult parts are the pulleys and water pump. That opens up all sorts of extra ordering options for you

OK. Spanner in the works, potentially...

They are out of stock :?

Suggesting a Dayko kit and seperate water pump so I'm enquiring price difference. They don't know when the kits we ordered will be in stock.

Will keep informed!

Here is their email:

We are unfortunately out of stock of Dayco part # WP169K1A and do not have a timeline as to whether or not more will be available in the future. We can either cancel your order or adjust it to a timing belt component kit without the water pump and then order four water pumps separately. For example, we could order four of Dayco part # 95169K1 and then four of Gates part # 41053 (the water pump). Please let us know how you would prefer to proceed.

I'm awaiting response to cost difference, then we can discuss.

Watch this space!!!

The price of the small kit and a pump was a lot cheaper than the full kit but the shipping was much higher because they were being shipped from different warehouses.

Make sure they adjust the shipping when they quote you the new price.

The reply...

Thank you for your reply. If we adjust your order to (4) of Cardone part # PWP718 (we only have two of the Gates water pump available) and (4) of Dayco part # 95169K1. Your new order total would come to $472.32. If you would like to proceed with this the $156.14 difference would be refunded to your PayPal account within 2 business days of your order shipping.

Please write back at your earliest convenience to confirm if we should proceed with this change.

Sounds good to me! Even get a refund! :-D

Please give me your thumbs up or comments.

Thanks!

From RockAuto:

Good Morning,

Thank you for the follow up. Yes, that is all we needed. I have released the order for processing and set up the refund to your PayPal account. Once the parts ship out we will send confirmation via email with the tracking.

Credits to PayPal generally take up to 2 business days to process and post to the account. Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Thank you,

Sorted! 8)
