Samco has offered LEC a Special 30% discount on hose sets due to the Group Buy for Federal Hoses.

Look at the Group Buy Section under Federal Hoses.

Here are the basic prices: viewtopic.php?f=85&t=21953&p=279110#p279057

US/Canada owners should read the entire section so you can see what is available.

Excellent news. I intend to replace all of my hoses, and I think that this will enable me to remove the blow-off valve too so that I can install the Everest chip.

Glad you can take advantage but I don't know what the blow off valve has to do with an everest chip. AFAIK they coexist just fine.

Thanks. I wasn't sure that the BoV and Everest chip were compatible, and assumed that I would need to return things to stock before installing the chip. In any event, I don't like the hiss every time I change gear, although I understand that this can be 'silenced'. New hoses would be an opportunity to remove the BoV.

Found this on Alan's website.

Just make sure your release spring is strong enough so it doesn't open too early. Some have a threaded adjustment that adds pressure to the spring while others add shime between the spring and the housing.

"If a blow valve is fitted with a spring that vents with a boost pressure less than the maximum target level then this effectively limits the boost to its cracking point and you will not achieve the rated boost for the chip. Should this occur I would advise it is rectified quickly (preferably before chip installation) as the turbo will spin very rapidly in this state due to the low resistance in the intake and the high BCFV duty cycle applied by the ECU in an attempt to meet the target boost."

Wow I hadn't read that before. Interesting. And glad I didn't install a BOV yet I guess.
