Which version of sill plates?

Postby madbilly » Mon 20.05.2013, 21:58

Hiya,
I've asked the seller but does anyone know if these sill plates on ebay are the later ones with the raised inner lip or not? If they are, will they fit an SE without modification?

Thanks,

Will,

The ones i got a few years ago had an 'E' prefix, and these have a 'D' so will be an earlier itteration :? (not sure what the part number of the originally fitted ones were, though.
Dave

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it

...oh, and a 2006 Freelander destined for the jungles of The Gambia - 4500 miles across roads, desert and tracks - what could possibly go wrong?

Based on the part number, those are the early type that have been replaced by the later type with raised sealing edge.

thanks for the help chaps, I don't think I'll bother getting them as I only want the higher inside lip to stop the pooling on the sill running into the cabin.
