Yes, the lifting bracket fits but without the hose. When I tried to bend the nipple, the entire top of the chamber flexed, not the nipple. So I drilled the hole. Since it is a vacuum chamber and I assumed there was a diaphram inside, heat was not a consideration.

I intend to pick up a Standard brand FPR and see if their nipple is bendable. I know the Airtex version is not, but both RM and SuperBad were able to bend things enough to sneak the hose inside, It would be good to know which brand allows the easier adjustment...

BTW, mine was a KEMPARTS brand, not Airtex.

Neither. If you want to leave the engine as assembled, neither will fit as they are too long to fit between the fuel rail and the engine hanger (lift point).

Ive ended up going for the Top end perfornance regulator kit, ready for the Adaptronic ECU http://www.efi-parts.co.uk/index.php?categoryID=88 Hybrid Turbo, Ansu high impedence 550cc injectors etc etc......

Although EMK2 says the FPR is fixed, there seem to be some adjustables which all have a side takeoff because the adjustment grubscrew is straight ahead e.g. Capitol Supply, D&M and Hypertech. There again, you'd have to drill a hoe to adjust it but it wouldn't be as big.

If that is the adjustable one, then price is in range of others have mentioned.

Accel do make decent performance parts.

If it is fixed, then you can do much better with

The difference is outer housing coating, silver zinc vs yellow zinc. Also available from Amazon for similar prices.

Summit also sell the Accel through Amazon, so it is another source.

Ordered the adjustable Accele one through amazon. We'll see how that works out. Might be a viable option to either drilling or the Lotus unit.

They're most likely not available direct from the UK but search for PR92 on Rockauto.com, check the Wiki for the latest 5% discount code and they will get a regulator to you faster than most UK suppliers for £50.

So the Accelle one I ordered looks the biz with one major issue. The mounting flange ear is on the wrong side of the regulator. Doh!!!! Need to find the right part number for the adjustable unit.

Unfortunately, since GM had a hand in this, a lot of the parts are US based.

If you need it, I can get you the FPR of your choice and send it on by Priority Mail which takes from 6 to 9 days. Rock Auto has a warehouse in the UK but doesn't stock the FPR there, so will send it from the US.

They are quoting Nov 21 as your receiving date if you order today.

Geoff is right, but PR92T is the same part, off the same line. It just has a shorter warranty period for repair shops.

If I decide I need to change the FPR I'll PM you to sort payment. At the moment I'm in the process of having the injectors cleaned. I've had the car running for the first time, after being stored for nearly 10 years. Fitted a new fuel pump/filter/plugs & leads, drained the tank filled up with fresh fuel. It's only firing on one cylinder (#4) getting a very strong spark at all the plugs but only #4 is getting sooty the other 3 are dry so thinking dirty/blocked injectors. Power (12.2V) is getting to the injectors. Any other ideas on what to check? Does any one have a source for new Injectors if needed?

I would suspect coilpacks as well.
Also a failing injector can cause problems on another cylinder because of the wasted spark principle. One failing injector can cause troubles on 2 cylinders...

Well after all that, she's running sweet , think it could have been a dirty electrical connector.
