hi all,
so in wet weather when i drive the left front wheel through a puddle i get a disturbing vibration for a few seconds after. the wheel arch liner has a 2 inch hole in it on that side. has anyone else had a similar experience?
cheers
Rich

Yes, if I drive through a deep puddle fast.
The cold water hits the exhaust on one side, one side hot the other cold makes it bend and touch the chassis somewhere. I haven't found out where as it only does it for 5 seconds while the exhaust warms up again.
I have a Piper exhaust

hi
thanks for the reply. sounds plausible. although in my case it happens when the left side of the car goes through water and the exhaust runs down the right hand side of the car. i have a standard exhaust.
thanks
