Good News:

The USA "B" Post Caps arrived today.

Shipping anywhere in the Continental US by First Class Postage will be $10.00 which is outbound US Postage @ $3.00 + inbound postage @ $3.00 and PayPal fees at $4.00.

So the price to Wayne will be $40.00 plus $10.00 which equals $50.00.

Send payment to Wayne ASAP and I will mail out your set of caps. PayPal is the fastest way or you can use Western Union, but that costs more and requires going to a WU office.
Contact Wayne for his PayPal ID or his Western Union ID.

I will post the caps as soon as Wayne confirms payment.

Having some time, I looked over the recent arrivals and noticed that unlike the pre-production sample, these all have a bit of a bump on the botton, by where the hinge overlaps.

You will get a better fit if you trim the bump using a razor (careful) or maybe a fingernail file.

I will include four (4) screws to attach the hinges. You will need to recover the hinges from your original caps.

Best to use a drill bit that is large enough to just take the top off each rivet. No need to drill all the way through.

For those who didn't get screws with their caps (oops!), they are M3 x 6mm Button Head.

Parts received today. Both parts, L and R, look great (shape, surface aspect, colour, thickness, position of holes for springs, assembly).
Was not any real surprise to me as you know as the right side prototype is installed on my car (since end of June) and has been giving full satisfaction during summer (4000km).

I would like everyone that has supported this project over the last 12 months.

I know that the parts are not a 100% replica and some changes and compromises were made. But I believe that for the cost they are way better than any alternative currently offered.

I have currently not contacted anyone other than the people that have emailed me about these parts as I can only ship them in small qtys.

I have sent out several more sets over the last few days and have a few more to ship tomorrow. I will continue to let people know when they are dispatched.

If anyone that has paid and has not been informed that parts have been shipped within a few days please get back to me.
