Hi Thanks in advance, as I gain some really useful information on here .
I am having a bit of success with my brakes I have got one now ,I find ,(and I have nothing to compare with) the pedal has a bit of travel ,it was garaged prior to me buying it for 15 years so I never drove it ,but I remember the guy I brought it from said the brakes were not all that on an elan,.

Search the site, the camps are divided on the matter between those who have upgraded and swear by the improvement to those, myself included, that believe that, whilst perhaps lacking a little, well maintained stock brakes are at least adequate for road use.
