Braid wheels anyone?

Having decided:
1. 9 year old tyres on my S2 aren't a good idea however much tread they have.
2. I should preserve the S2 wheels because they are delicate (I'm reading) when faced with a serious pot hole, and now pretty much unobtainable .
3. I should buy some 16" Compomotive 6 spoke jobs like the ones on the SE I nearly bought, for the new tyres.

I find a problem. Compomotive are in receivership it seems.

Braid has been suggested to me as an alternative. They range from austere white rally jobs to ridiculous bling.

Any experience or photos on the M100 anyone?

Never seen them on the M100? I guess it's down to your personal taste but make sure the off-set is a close match.
Some M100's have mini wheels fitted as the off-set is close but you need to drill out the centre hole to fit.

55mm actually, but surely that's close enough? I'm surprised no one else seems to be looking at this option. My only concern (other than the cost) is how do I know if spokes would clear Hi Spec brakes if I choose to take the plunge in that direction?
