have no spark on my elan

instead im thinking of following the immobileser wires and removing the system as sum time the wires need wiggiling on the immobiliser to get the ignition lights to come on so im thinking you are right here and the ecu isnt the fault

Thing is, from the pics I've seen there's so much exposed wiring that if it wasn't damaged before, it now could be.
You practically need another Elan alongside that you can either copy off, or mix and match bits with in order to prove that the individual components work.
Otherwise you could be causing more faults than you're fixing.

immobiliser has been removed now ,but this hasnt changed anything its still not sparking ,just waiting on ecu coming ,its the only thing thats not been changed ,all fuses have been checked and are fine ,fuel pump making all the right noises, all relays working ,earth straps good and connected ,the last owner who had the elan drove it home 5 year ago went bk to the elan in morning and just turned over and would'nt start due too no spark and its bin this way ever since ,ill wait for the ecu to arrive then try that ,dont no if the (cas) has moved its self and if the (cas) has moved can this cause the spark issue or the sensors that go on the cas

5 years without a spark ?

From a previous photo on another thread it looked very much like you/someone else had been attempting to play around with the CAS and/or HES ??? Can't remember, but did you change the HES ??
