Replacement Brake/Stoplight Switch from Wells

My brake light switch went out a while back and I had to order a new one. The part that was in there to start was a Ford part number 82GB13480AA. The new one, which also came with the plastic piece the switch slides into, is a Wells F4849. Quick and easy swap out, didn't bother replacing the plastic collar as the new switch fit in the old colar.

Me too. I found that most listed are Euro-suppliers and China that offer cheep prices and extraordinary shipping charges. I am about to place an order rigth now for the Wells F4849 switch. Thanks for the buying tip - helped a lot. When I'm complete with all this, I'll post a detailed tech-tip on R&R process.
