Seatbelts don't return

Hi All,
Can the inertia reel seatbelts be adjusted to make them return better, I've squirted a little WD40 on them, it helped a little but they still wont reel in properly.

I've just had a look at the wiki. If it stops raining anytime this weekend I'll have a go at fixing them. I'll try to take some photo's as I go and post them up.

Once the belts are out I guess its one of those jobs you can do on the kitchen table, if shmbo goes out (should you have such a problem)

It's really not messing around with old units when it's a safety matter,
old units that need WD40 against new units ? hmmmm
just send them to FDTS they send you back your originals (which you throw away) and you get two brand new units, and at a price you won't believe

??? forgive me if I sound dumb, but what factory list & when did you change them? (Got any Phone Numbers)

I've just spoken to F.D.T.S. Ltd the are quoting around £45+vat+P&P per unit

Unfortunately, the £35.00 seat belt kit was dropped from the Aftersales list in 2012 and is back at regular retail for £139.02.

A word of caution: the parts on the Aftersales list are usually end of stock items and subject to being sold out at any time. Your local dealer can verify if the part you are looking for is still available.

Per SIDE.

They are not on the list anymore. I have the old lists and checked to see when they disappeared. I also have the current Lotus Price book so I can see their price today ...
