Wheel badges - what size?

I don't have badges on the wheels or the rear deck. I have the rear deck badges but the PO never put them on after the paintwork. People craning their necks to see who just smoked them and remaining puzzled seems to have more value compared to the downside of people thinking it's a Capri. The stealth thing is kind of nice.

The wheels look wrong without the badges, though. So I'll order these but I need to know - what size should I order to fit the stock Elan wheels properly?

Complete wheel caps with Lotus Logo are still on the aftersales list. A082G6071F is the cap for the OZ wheels. £7.39 each - for a few prior lists they were down to £5.00.

Wheel caps with just the silver center are A082G6046F and also on the aftersales list at £4.46 each. Prices quoted are before VAT if applicable.

Order the caps from any UK or EU Lotus dealer. In the US, you will need to order from a UK dealer to get the aftersales price.

these are the Esprit part numbers......do not be fooled....these are correct for our cars with OZ wheels.....
don't order the same but with the elan part number (starts with A100.....) as these are exactly the same but more expensive....
a similar thing with the CTS......same part.....2 numbers (one for the elan...the other for the esprit)......2 different prices (£15 for the esprit part.....£54 for the elan part)

I do not understand. There are no A100... part numbers listed for either of the caps - at least not in the Lotus Parts Manual V.6 and G100T0325J (I call it V.7). Parts Manual C100T0325Z (V.2) doesn't list any part numbers for caps. There are a LOT of parts listed that have other car model base numbers. A fair amount of the hardware has A082 prefixes. The V.6 parts book is available in searchable form at www.deroure.com. It is only discontinued parts that are hard to find part numbers for as Deroure only lists active and recently active part numbers.

What are the prices you are quoting: (£15 for the esprit part.....£54 for the elan part)? The price for the badged cap is £7.39 and the unbadged cap is £4.46.

Every Lotus Dealer is obliged to sell them at this price. If you find one that won't, call Lotus and let them know or let me know and I will call Lotus.

cant find the posts for these but I know the BBS ones were 54mm

I can measure the space but did not want to assume that the caps are sized to fit exactly. Taking a cue from how the body panels fit together.

The caps are tapered to fit into the wheel and be snug when they reach the end. The actual badge is seamed under a lip and the visible area is 47mm while the badge is probably 49mm. That is another reason why I suggested the complete cap from Lotus.
