Hi all,
Just a quick introduction to the forum, having returned to the Elan fold with a recently purchased S2 in Azure Blue. Last one, a plus 2 was sold a long time ago to fund a central heating system for the house! Having searched the forum you seem to have it in the S2 register. Do you need any additional information? Reg is M711AHJ, No 489.
A couple of questions, I have registered for access to the manuals a few weeks ago but no response, could someone forward this onto one of the administrators please.
Also are window switches still a problem in sourcing as I have managed to get hold of a couple of new ones through a German Opel parts specialist if any one needs the site it is:
http://www.opel-classicparts.de/ The Opel part number is 1241069 for the black surround colour. The leads and illuminated button are the same and are a direct replacement for the old ones. Cost is 21 euros each plus postage and VAT so work out at £25 each. Apologies if this is old news.

Welcome back. And it is fantastic that your first posting contributes to the LEC community. It seems to be much easier to obtain these kinds of parts from Germany, for some reason. Perhaps no one in the UK gives a stuff about old Vauxhalls. Unsurprising, perhaps, given that they seem to specialise in making soulless appliances, in my opinion.
