Longterm owner looking to upgrade.

I am in the market for a another (second) M100. Ours is getting a bit long in tooth. To be a candidate the car must be in excellent overall condition. No rush. I just want people to keep me in mind if they come across such a car.

Long in the tooth means "old" basically

An accurate definition would be "old, outdated and no longer to perform its primary function at optimum level"

The saying is English and originates from the 16th century when referring to horses as you could apparently tell their age by how their teeth had ground down

PS We'd say something like there's only on f in Geof Smith is getting a bit long in the tooth ie he's an old git

Interesting definition, I always understood it to refer to age related gum recession giving an impression of longer teeth!

This is, of course, a UK condition, not experienced in the USA where dentistry and cosmetic appearance is taken more seriously

Ok, Dean was that you yesterday in Richmond driving that WHITE ELAN
I personally did not see it but was told it was in fact a M-100.
Their normally is only 1 Elan wondering the streets of Richmond and it's RED.
Who could it have been?
